Dog Does Disco in Wonderland 2013

I never though that this event gonna be held again after I saw the print ad in Central Park. This event has been held last year and you can read it in my previous blog. This event must be very success last year, then they held it again in April 28^th 2013, Sunday and I think it’s gonna be a routine event in Central Park.

This “Dog Does Disco” event is a special event for Dogs to show off, join competitions, adoption etc.This year they gave a theme “Dog Does Disco in Wonderland” I think it’s cute. There’s some special booths for food and beverages, dog costumes and accessories. This year featuring Project Pop as entertainment performance. Limited for entry.

A lot of people bring their lovely buddies here. We are as  visitor and dog lovers in the mall also happy to see various dogs in different breeds, sizes, grooms, costumes etc. They’re so cute. The dogs are the celebrities, I want to see them, I want to take pictures with them, I want to hug them.. so lovely, so fluffy.. I always smile when I see cute dogs running around, especially when I saw Mini Pomeranian, they’re like round fur ball. Husky always be my favorite superstar, Thanks to Victor. He came and took a very nice picture of me and Husky.

Although this is event is special for Dogs, but we met some people brought their own lovely pet like Porcupine and Sugar Glider. They’re also cute and almost stole the spotlight, haha. I’ve tried to touch the porcupine, scary.. the spiky needle fur feels like I’m touching a pile of toothpicks. It will bloom its spiky fur if panic and it’s hurt.. Sugar Glider is a tiny mini squirrel-like, they’re very close to their master. Hugging their master hand or climb around their body. Cute!

I think this is a very nice event.. hopefully next year will be held again. I love it.

Malaysia Trip 2013 (Part IV)

This is gonna be a short story.. It’s the last day of my trip at KL. Wah.. Dun wanna go home lar… so fun in here. Imagine to have a job just traveling, eat, play and sleep and get money.. ahh so good..

It’s Monday, Koko Mike is going to work, Abang takes leave and accompany us. In the morning, we pick up Sherline and went to China Town – Petaling Street. It’s a ‘MUST’ to go place. We’re having brunch at a foodcourt. I miss simple traditional chinese food, a lot of food varieties to choose, yummy. After finish having our breakfast, we started to walk along the street. Like always, I want to drink the Malaysia’s signature drink, Air Mata Kucing, so cool and soothing for this very hot day. FRESH! It’s still on Chinese New Year period, so some shops are not open. We went to some booth and bought ICE WATCH, hehe cheap! I regret I didn’t buy a lot, just Red and Pink. Next time, I’ll bought RAINBOW colors! Anthony bought some clothes for his staffs. It’s very hot and we tried another drink called KIM SOYA BEAN, quite nice.. but still air mata kucing and tembikai lychee are my favorite!

 

Next place we went is BERJAYA TOWN SQUARE. Anthony heard that our friends are there. So we’d like to meet and join them. Berjaya town square is a big mall and a lot of shopss. The item prices are quite cheap. We met Ririe and Sandy first when we shopping at a store. Then we’re all gathered. We’re shopping together, from clothes, souvenirs and food. Having lunch at Food Court and Nandos. Time is ticking fast.. and it’s time to go.. T^T

We separated in group. Sherline followed the other group and giving them a hugs. When she came back, She’s crying. Oww.. Is she so lonely ? Hope the best for her. Cheer up!! I think she’s really happy when we’re all came here at KL and stick together. Abang took me to KL Central, It’s the first time I’m gonna use bus to go to LCTT airport by my own.. worry-worry. Anthony will go back tomorrow.. (looks like I always depending on him..). Thank you abang for helping me. They accompany me until depart. Wah… now I’m going back, to airport and back to reality – JAKARTA!

In the plane, I met all again.. hahaha… We shared snacks and drinks. Took pictures until we reach Jakarta.

Malaysia Trip 2013 (Part III)

We have met Koko Mike yesterday, he just came back from Singapore. We played suspect together, chat and eat snack. Koko Mike always sleep earlier.

Okay, This is SUNDAY! the Les Mills QWS 1/2013. Sherline came to Andalucia and bring us breakfast – Nasi Lemak. yeay! After finish, we went to Sunway Resort Hotel and Spa. I’ve been here before when I was in the high school, but only the theme park and mall. It’s quite far. But Sunway is a nice place to visit. The QWS is super ultimate and it takes place at the hotel ballroom. Yeah! It’s big! Nice wide place to workout with the colorful flashing lighting. I like! Anthony will join the Bodystep® workshop. So me, Sherline, Abang and Koko are going for lunch.

For me, Sunway is a unique design building, very luxurious and antique, somehow also vintage design. This building are connected – Hotel, Mall, Theme park and Water theme park.  Nice Chinese New Year decoration in the Sunway Hotel. At the outside, there’s some big statues like exotic elephant, deers, fish, boat etc. We played and took a lot of pictures. Sherline seem so happy with it especially when we try to photo jump in front of exotic elephant statue. Inside the mall – Sunway Pyramid, there’s a great Chinese big boat at the atrium. I don’t know how to say in english, but I wanna say “NIAT!” (Indonesia word) haha… Very nice design, I love it. A lot of people took picture there, including me.

Abang took us to Sushi Zanmai - Japanese restaurant for lunch. It’s a nice place, kinda same like Sushi Tei in Jakarta. We order a lot of food. Ah, my favorite Japanese appetizer – Chuka Iidako, baby octopus (drool). Not everyone like this food, because the look, baby octopus.. but it’s so delicioussss.. Even Sherline was closing her eyes when try to eat it… She’s afraid. Haha… I’m swallowing my saliva when writing this. slurp.

But I think the special ones is YI SANG. Ordered by Koko Mike. It’s the first time I heard this food. When It came on the table, Oh it’s salad but different. Kinda like “Gado-gado Vietnam” for me. This Yi Sang contains variety of vegetable and salmon with 3 different sauces – Honey, Lemon, Olive Oil. We poured the sauces on, grab our chopsticks. We greet, pray, bless each other with prosperity, succees and health. Then we snap and mix the Yi Sang while Koko Mike is taking the video. Horraayy!! It’s sweet and sour – Delicious!! Anthony joins us after he finished Bodystep® workshop. I just realised that Sushi Zanmai’s sushi is quite cheaper than Jakarta. Ahh full!

We’re going back to the Ballroom. Time to play and dance. Sh’bam® and Bodyjam® time schedule gap is loong.. Sh’bam was 1 pm and Bodyjam was 6 pm -_- , so after we Sh’bammed, we have to wait for Bodyjam®. I met Abang and Koko at Coffee Bean cafe near the ice skating area. We spending time by playing Suspect for about 5 -7 rounds. After that, we’re going to walk around the mall. Outside the mall, we tried to take the photo jump with the Big Lion Statue. The result is good. I like.

What time is it ? It’s BODYJAM® time! It’s party time! Yes finally!! This time, Bodyjam® featuring Chris Richardson, the Bodyjam® program coach and DVD presenter, also with Fetty, Arnold, Nayla, and some presenters. It’s always feels good to do Bodyjam.  We wore our customized Bodyjam® jacket only for Fitness First Indonesia Bodyjam® team! It’s Yellow and the brightest of the crowds. ~so shine bright… tonighttt… you and I… ~ lalalala .. After the class like always there’s photo  session with group, presenters. Lucky I got one too.

Tired and Fun day! Energy low and time to fuel on with delicious food. Abang took us to Yong Tofu. A lot of food to eat.. to ending this fun day.

Malaysia Trip 2013 (Part II)

February 16th, 2013 – Saturday

Good morning Andalucia! We slept tight like a baby.. hard to wake up! I started to prepare myself, take a bath while Abang and Anthony were still sleeping. After I finish, I woke up Anthony. Then I have a narcism moments.. haha.

 

Abang also woke up and he asked what do we want for breakfast? “Roti Canai at RAJU” I answered. It’s a ‘Must’ if I go to KL. Abang agreed. We went there.. I love this place somehow. We order Roti Canai, Ayam Goreng, Fish, Tose Telur. Love the fish, one day I wanna try the fish eggs. And I think this is the most delicious roti canai I’ve ate so far. We also meet Sherline here, yay Oneng chan.. haha..

Emm, delicious breakfast. After we finish. We went to Mid Valley, Sherline has to teach Bodyjam® so she can’t join us. Mid Valley is a nice big mall. It’s still chinese new year period.. the mall decorated with a lot of chinese ornaments, flower etc. It’s beautiful decor inside the mall. Lovely cherry blossom, Chinese bamboo, Cutting paper.. I love them.

We went up to the top floor and visit pet shop. Shopping at DAISO, a japanese shop. Only 5 RM for each item. $_$ I bought a lot of photo frame.. haha. After that, we went to DELICIOUS – time for desserts. We ordered Strawberry Cheese Cake, Lychee Watermelon Blast and Mini Pavlova. Here, we taught Abang how to play Cluedo Suspect card game. It’s a detective card game that we need to find the suspect, weapon and location. Abang loves strategic game, he likes it! Sometime he seems so serious thinking the strategy. Haha..

After that, we’re going to Fitness First Axis. It’s the 2nd Fitness First club that I’ve visited. Sherline has a Bodyjam® class there, Anthony will teamteach with her. Some members were coming to join the class. Some of them are friends of Anthony and Sherline. They introduced me to them. . Our friends from Indonesia also came – Pira, Ririe and Zico. Pira was joining the class. It was fun. We took picture before and after class. love it! They’re all so friendly.

After the class, we went to Sunway Giza to pick Anthony’s Les Mills DVDs. We were very hungry, so we found a restaurant – WANEEDA, a restaurant that serves Nothern Malaysia foods. We ordered Steam fish, Vegetable, Ayam Pandan, prawns etc. Yummy!! don’t forget the tembikai lychee.. slurppp~ and also gossip! That’s the best.. haha.

What did we do or go next ya ? PAVILLION. hehe.. Anthony told us that all the Fitness First Indonesia instructors and friends are gathering at SNOWFLAKE. This is also a ‘MUST’ to go place. We gathered there. Bought Snowflake desserts. We met Lim, Nidia, Jeffrey, Lynda, Glenn, Pippo, Adie, Ririe, Sandy, Deri, Pira, DQ, Yudi, Nico. We’re celebrating Lim’s birthday here. we sang happy birthday song to him. It was fun. Took a lot of picture and chattering.

We could stay there all nite, too bad the mall is closing now. They’re also hungry. So this is it – KL nite out! Pavillion – Bukit Bintang is very crowded / busy. A lot people, tourists and stuffs. Walk a long the road. We went to a Chicken Rice restaurant. Dinner together, the chicken rice is nice. It’s really fun. We’re going back and take a rest. get ready for tomorrow QWS!

Malaysia Trip 2013 (Part I)

Wah, I’m going to Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia again! The last time was August 2012. It was really really FUN! This time is gonna be great too!  The main purpose is Les Mills Quarterly Workshop I/2013, It is an Ultimate super workshop that gonna be held in Sunway Spa & Resort Ballroom with Les Mills Superstars and presenters, such as Chris Richardson (Bodyjam®), Lisa Osbourne (Bodyattack®, Bodystep®), Michelle Dean (Sh’bam®) etc. The workshop will be held at Sunday, February 17th, 2013. A lot of Indonesia Les Mills team gonna be there.

Anthony Kesuma helped me purchasing my flight ticket, thanks to him. We will go together at Friday, February 15th - 3.40 pm. After I finished my job, I headed to terminal 3 – Soekarno Hatta International Airport. Not waiting too long, I met Anthony and we checked in together. We went to the boarding room, we met Errin, Tonny Tsufami, William and Jeany. Chattering.. Then the time is ready, Let’s GO!! Depart!!

We arrived! Horray KL!! It’s nice to be here again. We have to go to the KL Central, we used Aerobus to go there. It’s about 45 minutes. We’re separated. Me and Anthony will meet Abang Osman. We will stay with him for this 3 days. We went up the escalator, Aha! Abang Osman is waiting for us. He’s with Zarina, She is the Bodyjam® & Sh’bam® presenter from Malaysia. She greeted Anthony warmly. I knew her, but never chat. But she also greeted me .. hehe.. although it’s a little bit awkward.. hopefully next time will be better. I’m sure of it.

Zarina has to stay with her family and We’re going with Abang for dinner. Abang took us to Bangsar Village. Never been here, Bangsar Village is a nice mall. He brough us to Marmalade, an italian restaurant? hmm serving pasta. We order Beef Lasagna, Caesar Salad, Mushroom Aglio Oglio, Prawn Aglio Oglio. They’re delicious.

After that, We going home.. remember I ever wrote about Abang Osman & Koko Mike new apartment? We’ve been there when it’s still renovating. Now It’s ready. I’ve seen some photo of their apartment in facebook. But now we’ll be there in minutes. Welcome to Andalucia!

“WOW” that’s the first word came from my mouth. What a great nice apartment! It’s a big and spacious apartment, so homy and comfortable. It’s still Chinese New Year period, all the room decorated with Chinese ornaments,flowers, Hung Bao, beautiful and prosper. We took a lot of pictures. So happy to be here and very inspiring! Make me motivated to have an apartment too. My biggest dream.. hopefully I can achieve it soon.

We haven’t met Koko Mike, because he’s at Singapore . We relaxed at apartment and we played our board game, CITADEL! This time Abang and me lose to Anthony. Ha-ha… We played about 3 rounds and getting sleepy now… time to rest. Good Night!

Family Trip 2013 – Jakarta & Bandung (Part III)

26th January 2013, Saturday

Wake up early in the morning, eat breakfast and take a lot of pictures before leaving. It feels really good to have narcissm sisters. Fooling around, drama play.. Never get bored to take pictures. And I keep practising to pose like a model. cia you!!

For the next bandung signature landmark, It’s Kawah Putih (White Crater). We have to go there earlier because it’s far from the city. Almost spend 2 hours to go there. On the way to the location, my mom and auntie keep chattering (gossip) so it didn’t feel like we take a long trip. Arrived, there’s already a lot of people there. They said it’s a dangerous crater. It’s interesting, we went down the stair. Right in front of us is an amazing turquoise lake. Wonderful! The world is amazing, how can it created? It’s also an active crater, we can see the smoke come out at the other side of the mountain. We cannot stay at the crater for more than 15 minutes and do not touch the water, it contains high sulfur and poison. A lot of people took pictures here and so we are with a lot of poses. Never get bored to take pictures.

 

After finish here, we will go to Situ Patenggang Lake, on the way we passed the great tea field. It’s also the most beautiful view I ever see in my life, wide open space with green color in front of my eyes. Cool air, fresh air. Love the nature. We came down and capture this beautiful view.

 

Arrived at the lake. Hmm.. If compared to Lake Toba, it’s not really good. Oh well.. it’s vacation, so always exciting. There’s also a legend in this place about the Love stone. We have to visit there by boat. It costed IDR 150.000,- for one boat. I had fun on the boat. See the view of the lake and mountain. Arrived at the Love Stone location. hmm.. I don’t really get it here.. The love stone is just a block of stone, for me it’s not really special. After we took some picture, we’re going back.

We’re heading to Cibaduyut, Appe said this is the largest market for leather shoes, sandals, bags, jackets etc. All leather specialist. hmmm… If I’m on the trip,  I don’t feel like shopping, more like to see the landmarks, culinary and take pictures. And also Cibaduyut location are so busy. We just passed by and heading to buy snack souvenirs at Kartika Sari.

Bandung is well know for its brownies, Kartika Sari is one of the best brand in Bandung. We’re having our late lunch here. My sisters order some local foods like batagor, nasi bambu etc. They are delicious. We bought some snacks like brownies, pisang sale, bagelen etc. After that, we’re back to Jakarta.

Tomorrow, Mom and sisters will be back to Medan. Before that we’re having lunch at Manhattan Fish market – Central Park. It’s a nice and fun Bandung trip with them.

Family Trip 2013 – Jakarta & Bandung (Part II)

25th January 2013, Friday

It’s the first day of Bandung tours. We will be picked by the driver. Start 7.30 am we departed! Arrived in Bandung at 9.00 am. We met our tour guide/driver, we call him, Apep. The first destination is Tangkuban Perahu Mount, it’s the signature landmark of Bandung. It has a story of Sangkuriang legend. Apep told us the story along the way to the mount. It feels like listening to a fairy tale. We stopped at the strawberry farm, hmmm not really interesting, do not like to see the strawberry plant in the sacks, seems fake. But the view is nice. We just took some photo then continue our journey.

It’s about 1 hours, we arrived at Tangkuban Perahu Mount. Apep said the mount has 3 craters. We will see the biggest crater called Kawah Ratu (Queen’s Crater). It’s still an active crater so it might be dangerous. Last time, they said we can go down to see and get closer to the crater, but now it’s dangerous. We arrived, there’s so many people here and it’s so coolld and rainy.. Around the crater we can the tree with only branches, walk forward a little, then we can see the great Queen’s Crater. First time see the crater and wah… AMAZING! The crater is great. I can see the smoke come out from the earth, it’s like breathing. The Earth is alive!

We took a lot of pictures, we also bought Rabbit Fur Cap for souvenir and it’s looks really good for accessories for photography, like we’re from Mongol. It’s a great experience. Finished, then the next destination is Sari Ater Hot Spring.

Sari Ater Hot spring is also a resort. There’s a lot of people there. They said that the hot spring can heal the body from injury/muscle pain. It’s a nice place. Apep took us to the biggest hot spring pool. There’s a lot of people swimming there. We put our feet into water. The water is hot/warm.. not really smelly.. It’s nice. So I decided to swim. Get changed, splash! and ahhh.. it’s sooooo comforting.. the air is cold, the water is warm.. We took pictures again. Play with water. I wanna be like a model.. haha.. I posed a lot. I need to workout more.. build more muscle and tone up my body. Do you agree? Finish swimming and took a bath about 45 minutes, I feel fresh.. and hungry. Apep said he’ll take us to a nice restaurant.

  

Apep took us to Warung Kampung. He recommended us the signature foods of this restaurant. I forget the name, but it’s a seasoned grilled smoked fish, it’s spicy and delicious. The restaurant is nice. A lot of trees, flowers and plants. They made it like we’re having lunch at Kampung. Now we’re full. Like always the documentary must not be missed. Snap snap!

The next destination is the Milk Tofu Production House, here.. we can see the production of milk tofu. The tofu is very soft and moist. We also can buy snacks that made from tofu, tempe, soya etc. You can buy for snack souvenir.

After that we went to Kampung Daun. Just visiting to see and take pictures. I’ve been here before. It looks and feels better if we come at night. Kinda the same like Warung Kampung, but more spacious and a lot of hills. Then it’s time for shopping. Apep took us to Rumah Mode, It’s a well-known Factory Outlet in Bandung. Min & Wie found some clothes to buy, I found nothing because there’s no my size, I’m mini.

Hungry? It’s time for dinner. Apep took us to the Stone Cafe. It’s a nice place with live music. The place is romantic, love the atmosphere. I love the live music, the singer’s voice is so nice and clear to hear. The food is also good.

We have spend the whole day, now we have to rest. We gonna rest at Bantal Guling Hotel - a cute name for a hotel. The location kinda dark and away from the main road but it’s surprisingly a good hotel. Meanwhile, I met Sondhiar, my friend in Bandung. He took me to Padma Hotel, we ordered drinks and desserts. Padma Hotel has a very nice interior and enviroment. Nice Hotel. We chat a lot and enjoy the cool air of Bandung. We can see the peaceful forest beneath us. It’s really nice. It’s midnite.. Thank to him, He took me back to hotel.. then rest.. ready for day 2 trip.

Family Trip 2013 – Jakarta & Bandung (Part I)

My sisters, Wie and Min will come to Jakarta for holiday. They planned to go to Bandung too. Min has organized for the Bandung tour for 2 days 1 night. A few day later, my mom said she wanna come along too. That would be great. They’re coming at 24th January 2013 to Jakarta and stay at 4th Aunt’s house. I had a tuition to attend so I can’t join with them. After finish the tuition I contacted them and asked them whether they’re going somewhere near my position. Then we decided to go to Grand Indonesia, that’s my intention. I wanna bring them to Magnum Cafe - usually have to queue for 1 – 2 hours to enter this cafe. They have to go to some unique places here. I’m queing and waiting for them to come. They will come along with 1st Aunt, 4th Aunt and cousin, Min-min. Finally they arrived and we entered the cafe. We ordered the spaghetti, Fish in the basket and Red Jewel Ice Cream by Magnum. The elders seem not really like the western foods. Ha..ha..

After that, we walked along the mall and took a lot of pictures. Grand Indonesia has a lot of nice spot for photography. Then we had another dinner at Waraku – a japanese restaurant. We ordered a lot – Sushi, Ramen, Tempura, Udon etc. Eat a lot and full. Time to go home and take a rest for tommorow morning. We asked 4th Aunt to come along to Bandung.

Saturday Fever – Work and Shop

I have to work on saturday, February 2nd – 2013 to finish the Newsletter design that already late (very late) of the deadline T0T. It’s been a while that I have to work on saturday since my last office. Now I’m feeling it again. But it’s OK, just enjoy it, better working than spending the time lying on the bed till lunch time, feel like a pig (‘ (o o) ‘).

Went to the office, took a bath then made my breakfast, Nongsim Ramyun Korean instant noodle serve with the black sweet hot tea, sound delicious! There’s nobody in the office, so peaceful.. kinda like it.. like I’m the owner, the boss haha! I put my breakfast in front of my PC and let’s start to work. Sluurpp… click click..

I enjoy working in such a peaceful atmosphere.. I finished at 1 pm, already burn the files into dvd and made the newsletter dummy, voila! Then I’m waiting for my friend – Bo, to pick me up. Unfortunately the traffic is so jam, so we ended up going nowhere, just stay in Mall Taman Anggrek, my favorite mall in Jakarta. We’re having lunch at Pizza Hut then walk alomg the mall. The mall is decorated with Chinese ornaments due to the upcoming Chinese New Year event. I picked up a flyer that the mall is helding the Midnight Sale event. That interesting! Coincidently I have to buy a new shirt for Chinese New Year. So we went to the store tenants and browse some items, especially the clothes.

The midnight sale starts at 8 pm to 12 am. Now we are at Matahari department store. Matahari offers a special promo, for purshasing IDR 200.000,- we will get a shopping voucher worth IDR 40.000,- ; IDR 300.000,- will get a shopping voucher worth IDR 75.000,- ; IDR 500.000,- will get a shopping voucher IDR 150.000,-. The voucher has to be used at the same day. Interesting. So we’re browsing the items. Bo picked me some shirt that he thinks it’s gonna be look good for me. I’m not a very fashionable person and don’t really good in fashion style. I tried his picks, hmmmm quite nice.. 

We’re hunting the items and try to count to get the discount and voucher combos.. I feel like a shopaholic! Finally we want to get the U-shape neck pillow for free that worth IDR 600.000,-, lucky it’s discount 50%! Now it’s IDR 300.000,- so we have to get 2 shopping voucher IDR 150.000,- means that we have to purchase IDR 1.000.000,- hmmmmmmmmm……

Counting the items.. with the help of Matahari customer service lady, she’s smart! She counted for us nad voila! We got it !! All the items we purchase can get the vouchers, yeay!! We bought 4 shirts, pants, pillow sheet cover, bed cover. And we got 2 IDR 150.000,- vouchers and we used it to get the U-shape neck pillow for free.

Tired… but happy.

Jakarta Flood (January, 2013)

Starting new year 2013, welcoming the year of snake in chinese calendar in 10th February 2013. Before that date, It’s still the year of dragon 2012 – the water dragon. What happen in this early 2013? It’s raining season. I have a fantasy thoughts and I can describe maybe the water dragon is crying ? The water dragon is casting water magic ? Maybe the water dragon is angry? Because almost everyday is raining, following with the blowing wind and striking thunder. STORM and FLOOD.

17th January 2013, Thursday.. it’s the longest rainfall in my life. I woke up at 3 am until 8 am, the rain has not stop yet. I can’t go to work. It’s flooding all the way to the office and some way reaches 1.5 m depth. I checked my phone and all I see is the pictures and news of heavy rain and flood. Even CNN said this time, the rain is above average. It’s disaster. Some of my friends also can’t go to work and do activities. Sigh~ Here some photos from my friends.
